Smart meter installation problems

There may be problems on the day that prevent our engineer being able to install your smart meter(s). These include:

Your existing gas and electricity meters are too far apart or inaccessible (often the case in a block, for example).

Your smart meters are separated by a thick wall or some other obstruction.

Both these scenarios mean your smart electricity meter won’t be able to communicate with your smart gas meter to send us readings for both fuels. Along with other energy suppliers we’re working hard to resolve this.
